Struggling for Sanctification?

While we are looking at God we do not see ourselves–blessed riddance. The man who has struggled to purify himself and has had nothing but repeated failures will experience real relief when he stops tinkering with his soul and looks away to the perfect One. While he looks at Christ the very things he has so long been trying to do will be getting done within him. It will be God working in him to will and to do.”

    Hi BB,
Yeah sounds easy and *is* easy…is only we would put SELF away and look to Christ.
    ;-)

  4. Amanda :

That is so true Susan. For me, I get stuck when I refuse to deal with the issues that He wants me to deal with. Looking to Him, gazing at Him, beholding Him, is bound to reveal the sin in our lives if we truly examine ourselves with the measure of His Word. The ‘easy’ part is when I allow Him to reveal and highlight areas… the hard part is dying to these areas, as I have a part to play: I must decrease so that He can increase.

It sounds easy, but *dying* is not a pleasurable thing, until we get through the process.

    Hugs :-) )
