John has been off work with an injury to his back, several months after an injury to his shoulder and undergoing a shoulder reconstruction. Consequently, the yard became a bit overgrown. Perfect time to teach ‘J’ to mow the lawn. Oh, the sight was enough to warm a mother’s heart…seeing my MIT’s (that’s our term for Man In Training) learning to do various yard chores made me feel very proud.

The boys do look grown up and it’s great that John could have a “hands on” role with this.
